- Based off of Burgmüller's original piano piece La Pastoral (French), this arrangement is true to the original including articulations, dynamic shading, and general tempo.
This piece is perfect for clarinet players beginning ornamentation. Showcases harmony and legato phrasing. Sounds wonderful with piano accompaniment, giving the timbre a different sound than the piano original does. Compound time, appoggiaturas, and dolce cantabile tones are all important mechanisms in this piece.
